Description
StarTech.com Dual M.2 SSD adapter card converts one PCIe slot into two M.2 bays, so you can install two NVMe or AHCI M.2 drives in the same computer. Its red colour identifies a compact-format internal board, measuring 16 x 69 x 159 mm and weighing 88 g, designed to be mounted inside the case. The PCI 3.0 standard and the PCIe host interface, together with the ASMedia ASM2824 chipset, manage the connection of both drives through one M.2 output with two M.2 (M) slots. It supports hot swapping, so you can swap drives without shutting down the system, and its Plug and Play operation simplifies setup. With a maximum data transfer rate of 8 Gbit/s, it responds in demanding work environments, and its mean time between failures of 3,336,103 hours vouches for the reliability of the whole.
