Description
The StarTech.com serial extender extends an RS-232 connection over a Cat5 UTP Ethernet cable, with a data transfer rate of 0.115 Mbit/s. It has one serial port and one Ethernet LAN RJ-45 port. Its silver colour and dimensions of 65 x 22 x 92 mm (width x height x depth) make installation easy in any environment. The weight of 1 kg confirms a solid construction. It works with a DC type power supply and power requirements of 115V. It supports an operating temperature range of 0 to 70 °C, a storage temperature range of 0 to 85 °C and a relative humidity range of 0 to 90%. The connectivity technology is wired, which ensures stable transmission between connected devices.
