Description

The STARTECH.COM PCIe serial controller card adds four RS-232 ports to your equipment through a PCIe host interface, with DB9 serial output and Asix AX99100 chipset. Its full-height and low-profile form factor allows it to be installed in low-profile cases, and the assembly weighs 50 g with dimensions of 63 x 15 x 75 mm (width x height x depth). It is an internal expansion card in green, designed to expand serial connectivity in Windows and Linux environments, and has CE, FCC and Microsoft WHQL certification. It offers a transmission speed of up to 921.6 Kbit/s and a 256 B FIFO buffer, with flow control via RTS/CTS and XON/XOFF. It allows configuration of data bits of 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, stop bits of 1, 1.5 and 2, and even, odd, mark, space or no parity.
