Description
Connect your network devices with the StarTech.com Cat6 Ethernet cable, a 7.5 m grey cable offering a data transfer speed of 1000 Mbit/s and a frequency of 650 MHz. It features male RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts, which helps maintain a stable signal on every connection. Its U/UTP shielding and 10/100/1000Base-T(X) wiring technology make it suitable for Gigabit networks. The conductor is stranded copper with 24 AWG gauge, and the jacket is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with CMG rating. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), so it can power compatible devices through the cable itself. It has a protective boot for the connector, useful for preventing the tabs from being damaged with use. No configuration required: simply plug it in and start working. Its weight is 320 g, a modest figure for the length it covers.
