Description
Connect your devices with the StarTech.com Ethernet network cable, a 2 m black Cat6 cable. Its two male RJ-45 connectors feature gold-plated contacts, which promotes stable transmission, and its protective boot prevents the tabs from snagging when unplugging it. The stranded copper conductor, with AWG 24 gauge, works with frequencies of up to 650 MHz and supports Gigabit Ethernet with a data transfer rate of 1000 Mbit/s. It also supports Power over Ethernet, so it can power compatible devices through the cable itself. The PVC jacket and U/UTP shielding help protect the wiring in fixed installations, with CMG rating. Weighing 84 g, it is manageable both for connecting a desktop computer and for linking two points on the network.
