Description
The D-Link DIS-S302SX transceiver module is a silver-coloured network component designed to be integrated into equipment with an SFP connector. It operates with a mini-GBIC interface and reaches a maximum data transfer speed of 1000 Mbit/s, which places it in the realm of gigabit over fibre. It uses an SX-type SFP transceiver and is compatible with multi-mode fibre (MMF), so it fits into installations working with this type of cabling. Its maximum transfer distance reaches up to 20000 m, a wide coverage for links between distant points within the same infrastructure. Weighing 20 g, it barely adds any load to the device it is inserted into. It supports an operating temperature range of -40 - 85 °C, so it performs in both cold and hot environments.
