Description
The STARTECH.COM SFP transceiver module, compatible with HPE J4858C, operates under the IEEE 802.3z standard with a maximum transfer rate of 1250 Mbit/s over multimode fibre MMF, with LC connector. It reaches a maximum transfer distance of 550 m and works at a wavelength of 850 nm, with SX transceiver type and full or half duplex system. It incorporates DDM digital diagnostics monitoring and allows hot swapping. The housing is aluminium, in silver colour, with dimensions of 14 x 13 x 57 mm and a weight of 18 g. Its power consumption is 1 W and it has CE, FCC and UL certification, as well as RoHS compliance. The mean time between failures is 3381761 hours.
