This TP-Link Omada MC212CS-2 media converter in black combines a Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet port with an SC/UPC fibre optic connector to integrate copper and single-mode fibre networks at transfer speeds of up to 1000 Mbit/s. With a wavelength of 1550 nm and WDM multiplexing, it achieves a maximum transmission distance of 2000 metres, making the most of fibre cabling. It offers support for auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X, along with LED indicators for activity, link and power for easy monitoring of connection status. Designed to IEEE 802.3 standards, this unit serves as a functional component to extend your network’s reach in a stable and straightforward manner.
