Description
The TP-Link MC220L media converter, in black, converts the signal between fibre optic and copper cable to integrate fibre runs into a Gigabit Ethernet network. It works with category 5e and 5 UTP cabling technology through an RJ-45 Ethernet port, and supports both multimode and single-mode fibre via its SFP connector. It reaches a maximum data transfer speed of 1000 Mbit/s and covers transfer distances of up to 10000 m, with Auto MDI/MDI-X automatic detection on the copper port. Its LED indicators show the link status, and the device complies with the IEEE 802.3i, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3z, IEEE 802.3x and IEEE 802.1ab standards. It runs on an external power adapter and has a maximum power consumption of 1.7 W. Its dimensions are 94.5 x 27 x 73 mm (width x height x depth).
