The TP-Link TL-SM5220-3M DAC cable is a fibre optic and InfiniBand patch cord with male SFP+ connectors at both ends, designed to link network equipment compatible with this type of interface. Its 3 m cable length offers sufficient margin to connect ports located in nearby racks or cabinets without straining the run, and its data transfer speed reaches 10 Gbit/s, suitable for trunk links between switches and servers. As a DAC cable, it integrates the transceiver and the conductor itself in a single piece, which simplifies installation in racks where space is limited. InfiniBand protocol support extends its use to high-performance computing environments that work with this technology. It comes in black, a discreet tone that blends well with the usual cabling of a communications cabinet.
