Description
The StarTech.com Twinax Direct Attach SFP+ to SFP+ cable is a passive copper DAC designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links on compatible switches and network equipment. It features male SFP+ connectors at both ends and achieves a data transfer rate of 10000 Mbit/s, suitable for high-capacity connections between devices. Its 5 m cable offers sufficient margin to link separate ports within a rack or between adjacent cabinets, and its black colour matches the usual cabling of any installation. The jacket is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), a material that protects the conductor in daily use. It supports the InfiniBand protocol, which extends its compatibility with high-performance computing environments. Weighing 311 g, it is manageable during assembly. It is certified in accordance with CE, FCC and RoHS, and withstands storage temperatures between -40 and 80 °C.
