Description
The TooQ TQEP-500SSE is a 500 W ATX power supply unit designed for desktop computers. Its ATX form factor and ATX 1.3 version allow it to be integrated into cases compatible with this standard. It powers the motherboard via a 24-pin connector, and includes two 4-pin Molex peripheral connectors and four SATA power connectors for drives and units. The non-modular cabling keeps the cables fixed, something usual in this type of power supply. It cools its components with a single 12 cm diameter fan. As for electrical protection, it features overvoltage, overheating, short circuit, undervoltage, overcurrent and overload functions, so the system is covered against usual mains incidents. Its silver colour and dimensions of 150 x 86 x 140 mm (width x height x depth) make it easy to work out whether it fits in the intended space in the case. It also complies with RoHS certification.
