Description
Connect network devices with the StarTech.com Cat6 Ethernet cable, a slim yellow patch cord with 10 m of cable designed for installations where space and flexibility matter. Its male RJ-45 connectors feature gold-plated contacts and strain reliefs that protect the junction point against everyday pulls. The protective boot on each connector prevents the tabs from snagging when passing through conduits or racks. The copper conductor, with 28 AWG wire, maintains the signal at frequencies of up to 250 MHz and supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds, as well as being compatible with Fast Ethernet. Its halogen-free jacket reduces smoke emission in the event of a fire, a useful detail in indoor installations. It supports Power over Ethernet with a budget of up to 100 W, enough for cameras, access points or IP telephony.
