Description
StarTech.com PCI Express adapter card adds an IDE/ATA connection to your computer via a PCIe slot. It features a parallel ATA connector, so you can connect IDE and PATA devices taking advantage of the UDMA 133 interface. Its installation is internal and it is designed to expand storage connectivity inside the enclosure. It supports 48-bit logical block addressing, useful for working with large-capacity drives. It is compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012, so it fits into server environments that still require PATA drives. It complies with RoHS certification for environmental compliance. The controller weighs 120 g.
