Description
EQUIP LC/LC fibre optic cable in orange, 1 m in length, designed for linking equipment in network installations. It is an OM1 multimode patch lead with a 62.5/125 µm core and cladding structure, a core diameter of 62.5 µm and a cladding diameter of 125 µm. Its two connectors are male LC, which facilitates connection between compatible ports, and it supports full bidirectional transmission in full duplex. Insertion loss is 0.5 dB, a figure to bear in mind when calculating the optical margin of the link. The jacket is made from halogen-free material, a common option in structured cabling where the aim is to reduce smoke emission. It withstands an operating temperature range of -20 to 70 °C and a storage temperature range of -40 to 80 °C, so it copes well with both continuous operation and storage under demanding conditions.
