Description
The D-Link DEM-CB100S fibre optic cable comes in black and is designed to link devices with an SFP+ interface at speeds of 10 Gbit/s. Its two connectors are male SFP+ type, so it fits the corresponding ports on switches, network cards and other devices compatible with this standard. With a 1 m cable it is easy to organise the cabling between nearby devices within the rack or communications cabinet. The 30 AWG gauge conductor keeps the assembly light, and the 2.35 cm bend radius allows the cable to be curved without forcing it in tight installations. It operates over an operating temperature range of -40 to 85 °C, so it responds in both cold and hot environments. It has SFP MSA (Multi-Source Agreement), SFF-8431, EIA 364 and UL 94 certification, references that vouch for its conformity with the usual specifications for this type of connection.
