Description
The Allied Telesis AT-DMC100/ST media converter, in grey, transforms a Fast Ethernet connection into a fibre optic link. It connects devices with a 100Base-TX interface to a 100Base-FX network with ST connector, so you can integrate multimode fibre segments into your installation. It supports speeds of 10 and 100 Mbit/s with auto-negotiation and full and half duplex, as well as Auto MDI/MDI-X, so it adapts to different devices without manual configuration. Its multimode structure and a wavelength of 1310 nm allow a maximum transfer distance of 2000 m, suitable for linking distant areas within the same site. It includes LED indicators to monitor link status and supports link loss return and link loss carry forward, useful for detecting failures at the other end. It complies with the IEEE 802.1Q standard and its dimensions are 31.8 x 21.6 x 91.4 mm, with a weight of 113 g.
