Description
The LevelOne GVT-2001 media converter, in black, connects copper Ethernet segments with multi-mode fibre optic links. It offers a data transfer rate of 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s over Gigabit Ethernet, with auto-negotiation and full duplex system. Its input interface supports 10Base-T, 100Base-TX and 1000Base-T, while the output interface works with 1000Base-LX and 1000Base-SX. It incorporates auto MDI/MDI-X to simplify cabling and flow control support according to IEEE 802.3, 802.3ab, 802.3u, 802.3x and 802.3z standards. It supports Cat5 and Cat5e cables, 9000-byte Jumbo frames and link loss return. With a wavelength of 850 nm, it reaches a maximum transfer distance of 550 m. The device measures 94 x 25 x 70 mm (width x height x depth) and weighs 420 g.
