Description
The D-Link DGS-1520-28/E is a managed L3 layer switch in 1U format with a black colour, measuring 207.4 x 44 x 441 mm (width x height x depth) and weighing 2.33 kg. It incorporates 24 copper Gigabit Ethernet ports and two 10G Ethernet ports, adding up to 26 basic RJ-45 Ethernet switching ports. It also offers two slots for SFP+ modules with fibre optic connector, which facilitates the integration of fibre links into the network. It supports 10G and supports copper ethernet cabling technologies such as 10BASE-T, 100BASE-FX, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T, with auto MDI/MDI-X to simplify connection. Its web-based administration allows the device to be configured and monitored from the browser, which is useful in installations where segmentation and routing are required. The MAC address table supports 16384 entries, a wide margin for environments with many connected devices.
