The Zyxel USG Flex 500 firewall is a 1U rack-mountable hardware device designed to protect business networks. It offers a firewall throughput of 2.3 Gbit/s and a VPN throughput of 0.81 Gbit/s, with support for IKEv2, IPSec, SSL and L2TP/IPSec, plus IPSEC and SSL/TLS security algorithms. It manages up to 300 VPN tunnels, 500 VPN connections and 150 simultaneous VPN/SSL connections, and includes URL filtering. In terms of connectivity, it features 7 LAN Ethernet ports (RJ-45), 1 SFP module slot, 1 console port and 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. It supports up to 64 VLANs and has an integrated fan, with a noise level of 41.5 dB, a heat dissipation of 82.23 BTU/h and a mean time between failures of 529688 h. The device weighs 1.65 kg and measures 300 x 44 x 188 mm (width x height x depth).
