Description
The Vertiv Avocent ACS8048DAC-404 console server, in black, centralises the management of equipment in racks and technical rooms. It incorporates 48 serial ports, an RJ-45 console port and 8 USB 2.0 ports for connecting devices and adapters. It adds 2 RJ-45 LAN Ethernet ports and 2 slots for SFP modules, so you can link it over copper or fibre according to your infrastructure. Its rack mounting and its weight of 3.4 kg integrate it easily into already installed cabinets. Web-based management and the CLI, HTTP/HTTPS and SNMP protocols allow you to manage access from different tools. It reinforces control with LOCAL, LDAP, RADIUS, TACACS+ authentication and one-time passwords, as well as IP address filtering and algorithms such as 3DES and AES of 128, 192 and 256 bits. Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) speeds up the commissioning of new units.
