Description
The TP-Link TL-SG1016PE managed switch comes in black with a 1U form factor that fits into communications racks, with dimensions of 294 x 44 x 180 mm (width x height x depth) for installation in your rack. It is an L2 layer managed switch with web-based administration, so you can configure its parameters from the browser without additional tools. It incorporates 16 RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) ports with auto-negotiation and Auto MDI/MDI-X function, so you won't have to worry about the type of cable in each connection. It also offers VLAN support with Tagged VLAN and Port-based VLAN, and supports up to 4000 VLANs to segment the network in detail. Quality of Service (QoS) and flow control help to organise traffic, while storm transmission control protects the network against broadcast spikes.
