Description
The StarTech.com SFP+ transceiver module, in silver, connects HPE equipment to 10 Gb Ethernet networks via an RJ-45 port and an SFP+ interface. It reaches a maximum data transfer rate of 10000 Mbit/s and covers distances of up to 30 m, complying with the IEEE 802.3an standard. Its steel zinc housing measures 13.4 x 13.8 x 69.8 mm and weighs 58 g, with a power consumption of 2.3 W. It incorporates Auto MDI/MDI-X, which automatically adjusts the cabling between devices, and supports hot-swap for replacing it without switching off the system. The copper transceiver is compatible with the HP brand and supports a relative humidity range for operation of 0 to 95%. It has CE, FCC certification and RoHS compliance certificates. Its mean time between failures is 4598430 h, and it supports a storage temperature range of -40 to 90 °C.
