Description
STARTECH.COM SFP transceiver module compatible with HPE JD118B, designed for 1 GbE multimode fibre optic links. It offers a maximum data transfer rate of 1250 Mbit/s and reaches a maximum transfer distance of 550 m, with a wavelength of 850 nm and LC fibre optic connector. It complies with the IEEE 802.3z network standard and operates in full duplex mode over multimode fibre. It incorporates digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) to monitor link status and supports hot-swap, so you can replace it while the equipment is running. The housing is aluminium and silver in colour, with dimensions of 13.7 x 12.5 x 56.6 mm and a weight of 18 g, so it barely adds any bulk to the port. Its power consumption is 1 W and the mean time between failures reaches 3381761 h. It is certified in accordance with CE, FCC and UR, and complies with RoHS, with a relative humidity operating range of 5 - 95%.
