Description
The StarTech.com null modem adapter with DB-9 connectors is the part you need to cross two RS232 serial devices without complications. It incorporates two female DB-9 connectors in a straight form factor, so both ends have the same termination and the link is resolved with a single element. Its compact construction takes up very little space and is comfortable to handle behind the scenes or in installations where space is scarce. It has a white colour that makes it quickly distinguishable inside a rack or in a components drawer. With dimensions of 33.6 x 15 x 50 mm (width x height x depth) and a weight of 31 g, it barely adds volume to the setup and you can carry it with you without it getting in the way. It has CE and RoHS certificates of conformity, so it complies with the requirements applicable to this type of connection accessory.
