Description
Connect equipment at high speed with the StarTech.com Cat6a Ethernet network cable in blue, a 0.5 m cable designed for 10GBase-T links. Its S/FTP construction combines shielding in the cable and in the connector, with a protective jacket, to reduce interference in demanding environments. It reaches a frequency of 500 MHz and a data transfer rate of 10000 Mbit/s, so it responds well to 10GbE networks. It supports PoE, which allows powering devices through the cable itself. The conductor is stranded, 27 AWG, and the jacket is halogen-free (LSZH). Its RJ-45 connectors are male and straight-format, with a snagless design that prevents snagging when passing through conduits or racks. The round shape of the cable makes handling easier in tight installations. All of this in an assembly that weighs barely 25.5 g, easy to carry and install.
