Description
The StarTech.com PCIe RS232 serial controller card adds four DB9 serial ports to a computer with a PCI Express slot, featuring an Asix AX99100 chipset and a low profile, green colour. It is installed inside the computer and supports a transfer rate of up to 921.6 Kbit/s, with 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 data bits and 1, 1.5 and 2 stop bits. Flow control includes RTS/CTS and XON/XOFF, and it incorporates a 256 B FIFO to manage incoming data. It operates within an operating temperature range of -10 to 80 °C and a relative humidity of 5 to 85%. It is compatible with Windows and Linux systems, including Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2 and 2016, and is CE and FCC certified. It has a mean time between failures of 214358 h. Its dimensions are 75 x 18 x 63 mm (width x height x depth) and its weight is 264 g.
