Description
The StarTech.com FireWire 400 controller card installs in a PCI slot in the computer and adds IEEE 1394 connectivity. It offers three external 6-pin FireWire ports and one internal FireWire port, with a Texas Instruments TSB12LV26 chipset for a transfer rate of up to 0.4 Gbit/s. It is an internal type card, with a green and metallic finish, and dimensions of 18 x 80 x 123 mm (width x height x depth) for a weight of 53 g. It incorporates the Plug and Play function, so that the system recognises it when connected. It is compatible with Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2019, as well as with Linux systems. The user manual is included to guide setup. It has CE, UL, FCC, REACH, TAA and Microsoft WHQL Certified certification, and complies with the RoHS directive.
