Description
STARTECH.COM OM4 multimode fibre optic cable, a 3 m cable with LC/UPC to LC/UPC connectors and aqua colour. Its 50/125 µm construction, with a 50 µm core and 125 µm cladding, is designed for links of up to 100 Gbit/s over wavelengths of 850 nm. Being multimode, it supports full bidirectional full duplex transmission, so traffic flows in both directions without splitting strands. The two connectors are male LC, a format common in compact network equipment, switches and optical modules. The jacket is made of halogen-free material, which reduces the emission of harmful gases in the event of fire. Its weight is 47 g, light for the distance it covers. The cable has CE and RoHS certificates of conformity, and supports a storage temperature range of -20 to 60 °C.
