Connect a USB Type-C device to an HDMI display with this active video converter from StarTech.com. The adapter features a 1 m round cable with a USB Type-C connector on one end and a standard HDMI Type-A connector on the other, both straight, and a weight of 130 g. Its VMM7100 chipset and USB Type-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode compatibility allow video transmission at a maximum resolution of 7680 x 4320 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, with support for HDMI 2.1 and HDR10. HDCP protection in versions 1.4, 2.2 and 2.3 facilitates the playback of protected content on compatible displays. Installation is immediate thanks to Plug and Play, with no additional configuration required. The cable jacket is PVC and the connector housing is plastic, in a grey-coloured assembly.
