Description
The black StarTech.com USB A to USB B cable connects devices such as printers or peripherals to a computer via USB A and USB B male connectors, both straight type. Its 1 m cable is practical for installations where a long run between the equipment and the device is not required. It reaches a maximum data transfer speed of 5000 Mbit/s, which translates to a rate of 5 Gbit/s under the USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard. The connector contacts are nickel-plated and the cable jacket is polyvinyl chloride (PVC), with an AWG 24/28 gauge. It features mylar aluminium foil shielding that helps protect the signal in environments with interference. It is compatible with Plug and Play, so simply connecting it is enough to start using it. This model weighs 49 g, a contained figure that makes it easy to transport and handle.
