Description
The StarTech.com USB extension cable extends the distance between your equipment and a USB device without losing performance. It is a 10 m cable in black, with a male USB A connector at one end and a female USB A connector at the other, both straight type. As it is an active model, it maintains the signal along the entire length and offers a maximum data transfer speed of 5000 Mbit/s, that is, 5 Gbit/s, compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 1. The connector contacts are nickel-plated, while the cable jacket is polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It supports a maximum output current of 2 A and an output voltage of 5 V, enough to power low-consumption peripherals. Its Plug and Play function allows you to connect it and use it instantly, with no additional configuration. Weighing 491 g, it is manageable even in installations where you need to cover several metres between the computer and the device.
