Description
The white StarTech.com Cat6a network cable enables deployment of high-performance Ethernet connections in professional installations. Its S/FTP construction with 27-gauge stranded conductors offers a bandwidth of 500 MHz and supports data transfer speeds of up to 10000 Mbit/s. The halogen-free sheath helps to reduce smoke emission in the event of a fire, a relevant detail in enclosed spaces. It features straight male RJ-45 connectors at both ends, with their own shielding and a protective cover for the latch, which makes handling easier without damaging the connector. As a 10 m cable, it covers typical distances between racks, wall outlets and network equipment. It supports Power over Ethernet, so it can power compatible devices through the cable itself. Its round shape and weight of 340.3 g make it manageable during installation.
