Description
Converts signals between Ethernet and fibre optic networks with the LevelOne IEC-4002, a media converter that combines a 10Base-T and 100Base-TX input interface with a 100Base-FX output. Its multimode ST fibre port enables a maximum transfer distance of 2000 m. It features auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X, so it adapts the connection automatically, and supports full duplex and half duplex according to the link's needs. Flow control and compatibility with the IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3x standards help maintain the stability of data transmission at 100 Mbit/s. It includes one RJ-45 Ethernet port and a single fibre channel, with LED indicators for activity, link and power to monitor the device's status. Its aluminium housing, in black, measures 59 x 36 x 49 mm and weighs 90 g, compact dimensions that make it easy to install in tight spaces.
