Its S/FTP (S-STP) construction combines pair shielding and overall braiding, which strengthens transmission against interference in dense installations. The connector contacts are gold-plated, a detail that helps maintain signal quality in repeated connections. The conductor is stranded copper with 26/7 gauge and reaches a data transfer rate of 40000 Mbit/s. It handles a frequency of up to 2000 MHz, a wide margin for demanding network applications.
