The Ewent EW1055 smart card reader is a desktop device with a black plastic casing, designed to be connected to a computer and work with smart cards. It is placed indoors and is powered directly via the USB port, with no need for an external power supply, as the port itself supplies current. It features a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) interface for data exchange and a 1 m cable that makes it easy to position near the equipment. It has LED indicators that show the reader's operating status at a glance. It is compatible with both Windows and MAC operating systems, so you can use it in diverse working environments without complications. Connect the reader to the USB port, insert the card and you will have direct access to reading it. Its compact and discreet format fits well on office desks or public service points.
