Description
The EnGenius EWS850-FIT is a white wireless access point that reaches a maximum data transfer speed of 1774 Mbit/s. It operates in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, with up to 574 Mbit/s in the first and 1200 Mbit/s in the second, and incorporates MIMO and Multi User MIMO to serve several devices at once. Its BeamForming technology directs the signal towards clients, while QoS and Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM/WME) support prioritises latency-sensitive traffic. As for the wired network, the Ethernet port supports speeds of 10, 100, 1000 and 2500 Mbit/s, and it is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE). It manages tagged VLANs, MAC address filtering and hidden or multiple SSIDs, with security algorithms such as WPA2-AES, WPA2-Enterprise, WPA3-Enterprise and WPA3-PSK, as well as SNMP, SNMPv2 and SNMPv3. The access point measures 124 x 52.5 x 190 mm (width x height x depth) and weighs 700 g.
