Description
The D-Link DMC-G01LC/E media converter, in grey and with dimensions of 70 x 25 x 95 mm (width x height x depth), converts the signal between an Ethernet connection and a fibre optic link. It features an RJ-45 Ethernet LAN port and a fibre channel port with SFP connector, so you can link copper and fibre segments within the same network. It supports data transfer speeds of 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s, with a maximum of 1000 Mbit/s, and integrates into Gigabit Ethernet networks. It complies with the IEEE 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3x standards, and includes the Auto MDI/MDI-X function for the copper port. The connectivity technology is wired and it has LED indicators that show the status of the device. Its mean time between failures is 506711 hours, a useful figure for installations that must remain continuously active.
