Description

The ASUS SDRW-08D2S-U Lite external burner is a black DVD±RW optical drive with horizontal mounting, designed for use with a desktop or laptop. It connects via a USB 2.0 interface and supports 80 and 120 mm optical discs, as well as CD, CD-R, CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD and DVD+R, among other formats. It burns CD-R at 24x, CD-RW at 16x and rewrites CD at 16x, while for DVD it reaches 8x for DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, 6x for DVD-RW and dual-layer DVD-R, and 5x for DVD-RAM. Its dimensions are 142 x 20 x 142 mm (width x height x depth) and its weight is 280 g, making it compact and easy to transport. With this burner you can read and write discs from a desktop or laptop without taking up permanent space in the tower.
