Description
The StarTech.com network card with two QSFP+ ports is installed inside the equipment via a PCI-X host interface with PCI 3.0 version, in black and with a weight of 260 g. Its dimensions are 121 x 21 x 181 mm (width x height x depth), a compact format that fits into server chassis. It incorporates the Intel XL710-BM2 chipset and offers a maximum transfer rate of 40000 Mbit/s with full duplex operation, designed for single-mode fibre links. Connectivity is wired and uses 40GBASE-LR4 and 40GBASE-SR4 fibre ethernet technology, with two fibre channel ports and QSFP+ connector. It supports Jumbo frames of up to 9000 and flow control support, as well as VLAN tagging and the IEEE 802.1Q, IEEE 802.3ad, IEEE 802.3ba and IEEE 802.3x standards. The activity and link LED indicators allow the status of each port to be checked at a glance.
