Description
The NETGEAR GS308-300PES is an unmanaged Layer L2 switch with eight Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) ports in black and a weight of 390 g. Its dimensions are 158 x 29 x 101 mm, so it takes up very little space on any desktop or small rack. The eight RJ-45 Ethernet ports offer Gigabit switching and support the IEEE 802.1p, IEEE 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3az, IEEE 802.3i and IEEE 802.3u standards. It includes practical features such as auto-detection, auto MDI/MDI-X and cable length detection, which simplify installation. It also supports flow control and quality of service (QoS), useful for prioritising sensitive traffic. Its MAC address table supports up to 8000 entries and the switching capacity reaches 16 Gbit/s. The forwarding rate is 1,448 Mpps and it has Jumbo Frame support. Power is supplied via a DC input jack.
