Description
The LINDY 38205 is a black AV signal extender that works as both transmitter and receiver to carry audio and video from one point to another with a single unit. It reaches a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz, with a bandwidth of 18 Gbit/s and HDMI 2.0 compatibility. The maximum transfer distance reaches 50 metres using Cat5e or Cat6 cables, allowing the source equipment to be separated from the display without losing image quality. It features HDCP pass-through and full reading of Extended Display Identification Data (EDID), so that the signal is correctly negotiated between the connected devices. It has two HDMI outputs, one RJ-45 input and a MicroUSB connector, and includes an IR pass-through output to control the source equipment from the receiver's location. Its casing is metal, which provides robustness in fixed installations.
