Description

The Conceptronic EMRICK03G card expands your equipment with four internal SATA ports through a PCIe host interface and a PCIe 2.0 expansion card standard, so you can connect several drives inside the case. Its SATA output interface reaches SATA 3.0 revision with a maximum data transfer rate of 6 Gbit/s, and the ASMedia1061 chipset handles traffic management. It includes a port multiplier and Native Command Queuing NCQ, features that help organise read and write operations when several drives are working at the same time. As it is an internal card, it is installed inside the chassis, and supports hot-swap and hot-plug to change drives without turning off the system. It is compatible with Linux operating systems. The card measures 43 x 18 x 65 mm (width x height x depth) and weighs 41 g, so it barely adds any volume to the setup.
