Description
StarTech.com RJ45 to SC multimode fibre optic Ethernet media converter, with a maximum data transfer rate of 100 Mbit/s and maximum transfer distance of 2000 m. The black colour and its dimensions of 75 x 20 x 95 mm (width x height x depth), with a weight of 90.5 g, correspond to a plastic casing. It incorporates an RJ-45 Ethernet LAN port and a fibre channel port with SC connector, and its input converter interface supports 100BASE-FX, 100Base-TX and 10Base-T. It works with multimode fibre mode structure, wavelength of 1310 nm and Jumbo frames of 9000. It is compatible with the network standards IEEE 802.1Q, IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u, and its duplex system is full and half (duplex). It includes LED indicators for activity, link and power, with a mean time between failures of 65000 h.
