Description
StarTech.com OM4 multimode fibre optic cable with LC/UPC to LC/UPC connectors, designed for data links in 100G networks. This 5 m aqua cable supports a data transfer rate of 100 Gbit/s and operates at wavelengths of 850 nm. Its multimode construction features a 50 µm core diameter and a 125 µm cladding diameter, with full duplex bidirectional transmission between both ends. The male LC connectors at each end make connection easy to compatible network equipment and switches. The jacket is made of halogen-free material (LSZH), which reduces smoke emission in the event of a fire. It supports storage temperatures between -20 and 60 °C. Weighing 74 g, it is lightweight and manageable for installation in a rack or cable tray.
