The StarTech.com multimode fibre optic cable, in aqua colour, is a connection solution for high-speed networks. It features LC male connectors at both ends and OM4 fibre with a 50 µm core and a 125 µm cladding. It supports a data transfer rate of 100 Gbit/s and operates at wavelengths of 850 nm. Its multimode structure and full duplex capability allow data to be transmitted and received simultaneously. The jacket is made of halogen-free material, which helps to reduce the emission of toxic gases in the event of fire. It supports a storage temperature range of -20 to 60 °C. Weighing 180 g, this 15 m cable holds CE and RoHS certificates of conformity.
