Description
Connect USB-A equipped devices to RS-232 serial devices with the StarTech.com USB to 2-port serial adapter cable, featuring USB-A male connectors and two straight DB-9 connectors. Its 0.6 m cable facilitates connection in tight spaces and works with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and Linux. It incorporates the FTDI FT2232H chipset and achieves a data transfer rate of 0.48 Gbit/s with a transmission speed of 921.6 Kbit/s. LED indicators allow you to check the connection status at a glance. They support 7 and 8 data bits, 1 and 2 stop bits and even, odd, mark, space and none parity. The cable jacket is made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), with a weight of 110 g and dimensions of 45 x 20 x 610 mm. It is available in black and grey, and offers level-4 ESD protection with interchangeable screws.
