Description
The Lindy 47450 fibre optic cable, in yellow, connects devices with an LC connector over a 1 m cable. It is an OS2 single-mode patch cable, with a 9 µm core and a 125 µm cladding, designed for fibre optic and InfiniBand links. Its two ends are male LC and offer full bidirectional transmission in full duplex. The insertion loss of 0.3 dB helps to maintain signal quality at each connection. In addition, it is halogen-free, a relevant detail in installations where fire safety is a priority. Its 1 m format is practical for connecting nearby ports within a rack or for linking a switch with another device on the same shelf.
