Description
The D-Link DGS-1520-52MP managed switch is an L3 layer device with 44 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports, 4 2.5G ports and 2 10G copper ports, plus 2 SFP+ slots for optical fibre and 2 fibre channel ports. Its 1U form factor, weighing 4.8 kg and black in colour, is designed to be rack-mounted within demanding network infrastructures. It supports web-based management, which makes configuration and traffic monitoring easier. It includes VLAN support, flow control, link aggregation and spanning tree protocol to segment the network and prevent loops. It also offers auto MDI/MDI-X and head-of-line blocking, useful when traffic is concentrated on a single port. Its forwarding rate of 139.88 Mpps supports switching between the different connected segments, both over copper and fibre.
