This unit, sold by Synology without pre-installed drives and with an initial capacity of 0 TB, supports up to 16 hot-swap bays for 2.5" or 3.5" SATA, SATA II or SATA III drives, both HDD and SSD, with a maximum expandable capacity of 108 TB. Compatible with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and JBOD configurations, as well as online RAID level expansion and migration, it manages multiple file systems such as BTRFS, ext4 or NTFS. As it does not include storage, prepare your own drive selection to deploy a robust and scalable network solution.
